Our Beliefs

  • The Scriptures Inspired: The Bible is the inspired Word of God; infallible, a revelation from God to man. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • One True Godhead: The triune Godhead is comprised of 3 separate & distinct personalities, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  (Matthew 28:19, Proverbs 30:4, Psalm 51:11, John 5:19 & John 14:26)
  • Jesus Christ: is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal & co-eternal with the Father. (1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 4:2-3, 2 John 1:7, Mark 12:29)
  • Man, His Fall and Redemption: made in God's image; voluntarily fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:21-26)
  • The Salvation of Man: Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:24; John 3:3)
  • Baptism in Water: The ordinance of baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the scriptures. (Matthew 3:11, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, Matthew 28:19)
  • The Lord's Supper: This remembrance and partaking of bread and wine should be frequently celebrated by God's people. (Matthew 26:26-30, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
  • The Promise of the Father: All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the Promise of the Father. That Promise is The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the enduing of God's people with power for life and service (Acts 1:8). The Promise also includes the endowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of ministry. (1 Corinthians 12:1-31)
  • The Evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: The full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance & spiritual power in testimony and service. (Acts 2:1, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 19:1-6)
  • The Church: The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit; with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the first born. (1 Corinthians 12:1-31)
  • Blessed Hope: Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to be ever with Him. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52 / 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
  • The Lake of Fire: Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead. (Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:13-15)
  • The Millennial Reign of Christ: The scriptures promise the return of our Lord Jesus Christ with His saints from heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on earth. (2 Thessalonians 1:7 / Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-6)
  • The Sanctity of Marriage:  We believe marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman. (Genesis 1:26-28,  2:22-24)
  • Gender is Defined by DNA: We believe that every person is born with specific DNA which determines the gender of the individual. Human sexuality is binary. If an individual has the 'Y' chromosome, you will be a male. If not the'Y' chromosome, you will be a female. God is the Author of life and He decides by creation who we are. (Genesis 1:26-28 / 2:22-24)
